The Administration is ably run and supported in the main amongst others, at the core, the President, Abdus Samad Khalfe, General Secretary Mohammed Omar, Educational Secretary Nazeer Khalfe, Welfare Secretary A.K. Khalfe, HWMEM's official Imam Bayanudien Saban, Assistant Educational Secretary Akbar Khalfe, Assistant Secretary Essack Mohamed and the Financial pillar, Mr. A. Brey.


Currently, Administrative duties are primarily overseen by Mr Jogee, a retired teacher from Habibia Primary. He is based at our office in Gatesville, Athlone.

 





Change is inevitable, and as these changes occur in society and the wider economy, the Movement evidences a greater number of calls on all its service areas. The growing community needs are a worrying trend. The needs manifests into new challenges demanding new initiatives, new activities and also new methods in the organisation's attempts to solve the escalating problems. It is an observation of the Movement that much of the challenging pressure is sourced systemically from two or three factors. It is also the Movement's opinion that if these are not addressed effectively or at the root, the actual alleviation of the problem for thousands of needy will be perpetuated resulting in a vicious cycle of impoverishment - a circle of greater dependence on welfare services.
